Fitness to Practice applies to students studying on professional courses (such as nursing or midwifery), who must uphold certain professional standards to be registered to practise in the UK. These standards relate to aspects such as conduct, competence, and physical health.
If a fitness to practice allegation is made against you, the Advice Centre can support you through the process, outline what to expect and help you to prepare for it.
The University's Fitness to Practice Procedure can be found here.
Instructions on how to book an appointment with one of our advisors can be found here.
