This year’s National Student Survey (NSS) results have been released and demonstrate that USSU has above sector average ratings for student satisfaction.
73% of final year undergraduate students who complete the NSS said that they were satisfied in response to the following question: “How well does the students' union (association or guild) represent students' academic interests?”. This is above the sector average of 72% satisfaction.
Separately, USSU has received positive sector results in comparison to its peer-group, placing second out of fourteen similarly-sized SUs in terms of student satisfaction in a survey conducted by market research agency Alterline. USSU also came top of that peer-group in the following questions:
Commenting on the results Simeon Anyalemechi, USSU President, said “it’s great to see the dedication and hard work of USSU officers and staff bear fruit and for us to be above the sector average for student satisfaction in the NSS for the first time. The Alterline results also show our strengths in comparison to some of the University’s peers. We still know there’s a long way to go and we’re keen to keep improving our services for students.”
