Sadly, it's time for our officer team of 2022/23 to depart!
We hope you’ll join us in congratulating them for all their hard work over this last year.
We’ll miss you Amie, Jedi, and Festus – you've been nothing short of exceptional!
(The only reason we won’t be missing Simeon and Ayo is because they're staying on our officer team for 23/24!)

Cost of Living and School Support
- Good work and support within schools to promote success and wellbeing
- Lobbying the University to support students with the Cost of Living crisis

Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion
- Black History Month Final Night
- Trans Day of Remembrance Event

- Vigil for Brianna
- Cosy Cafe for neurodiverse students
- Lobbying for captioning on lectures to support accessibility for all
- Aiding on Disability Awareness Event

- SSEE Collectives
- CAYA Night
- Trans Student Help Guidebook

Improving Employability across the schools
- Organise Business School Employability event for students
- £1000 award for new societies created in the Business School
- Winter graduation for the School of Health and Society

- Monthly meet-ups for Arts and Media students to network
- Placement and employability structures in place to support students
- Work with the employability team in SSEE to include companies with experience aligned with the courses within SSEE
Health and Wellbeing
- Bringing to life the Student Mental Health action plan and initiatives
- Lobbying for freedom of speech and ability to influence beyond university staff
- Pilot of 3 houses for family accomodation offered by the council
