About Us

CATS is the Cancer Awareness in Teenage and Young People Society. We are here to make sure every student knows the common signs and symptoms of cancer in young people, and when to go and see their GP.

We are run by students, for students. We focus on raising awareness of our mission through innovative and engaging ideas that will reach groups of students (and allow them to have some fun too). We also work with other societies and groups within the university to make sure we can target as many people as possible.

Most of the time it’s nothing, but sometimes it’s cancer.

CATS are here to make a big change in the student community, and we want you to be a part of it!

Remember, you don't have to pay membership before you attend, and your first session is ALWAYS free!
