USSU is the representative body for all students at the University of Salford. We work in partnership with the University and other stakeholders to ensure that all students love their life at Salford.
However, we are more than that. We are different. We’re led by five Student Officers who are elected from our membership each year. The students’ union is professionally run but we support these five students to create the change they want to see at their University. We support over 500 student course representatives and provide professional advice to around 2000 students each year. The students’ union also encompasses championship winning sports teams, over 70 student societies, events drawing thousands of students, campaigns, a wellbeing app as well as a café, a bar, and a nightclub.
In return for your passion and experience we offer a competitive salary for the non-profit sector and excellent holidays and benefits.
In our recent Employee Engagement Survey 81% of staff said they would “wholeheartedly recommend the organisation as a place to work”.
