Campus Leagues Opportunities
Salford based Campus Leagues
6-a-side Football
- They meet every Friday from 5.30pm – 9.00pm on the 3G Pitch. Teams may not play every week depending on the league size. This is capped at 18 teams per season.
- Applications for this league are now closed. If you are a player in the league and have not signed up to BUCS Play or need to be added to the mailing list, please email Sam at USSU-teamsalford@salford.ac.uk with your team name and what you need to be involved in the league.
Joint Leagues with the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University.

Women’s Netball
- They train every Thursday from 7pm – 8pm in the Sports Centre Sports Hall and compete on Wednesdays from 1pm - 4.30pm at Sugden Sports Centre, Manchester.
- This is weekly training for the development squads and also an opportunity to have friendly matches with other local institutions.
Men’s 11-a-side Football
- They train every Tuesday from 8pm-9pm at the David Lewis 3G Pitch and compete on Wednesdays between 2pm – 4.30pm at Wythenshawe Sports Ground, Manchester.
Mixed Badminton
- They train every Tuesday 4pm-5pm in the Sports Centre Sports Hall and compete on Sundays between 3.30pm – 5.30pm at Sugden Sports Centre, Manchester.
- This is a mixed league, so anyone is welcome to join though we will only be submitting 3 pairs.
- It is a doubles team entry competition however there are weekly opportunities to play singles matches.
- Applications to join this league are now closed. No more teams may be added.
Men's Basketball
- They train every Friday from 8pm – 9pm in the Sports Centre Sports Hall and compete on Sundays from 5pm - 7pm at Sugden Sports Centre, Manchester..
- This is weekly training for the development squads and also an opportunity to have friendly matches with other local institutions.
- Applications to join this league are now closed. No more teams may be added. To join the existing team, please contact ussu-teamsalford@salford.ac.uk to see if the team are in need of additional players.
