Sovereign House GH is a non-profit organisation aiming to alleviate poverty through housing, education, healthcare and community development.
In Salford, we run a Computer Learning Programme. The aim is to build the confidence of the children, enhance their computer skills, giving them higher competency and a foundation for the job market. The project is intertwined with guest speakers who come in to chat with the children about future aspirations and goals, thereby boosting their confidence, inter-personal and social skills, encouraging them to give-back to the community. The project is all inclusive, and for children between the ages of 7-16 years old.
Skills required:
- Relevant training in technology and internet
- Passionate about social media and interacting with people via these channels
- Understanding of social media & good interpersonal skills
When needed: The position will start as soon as all requirements have been checked
Location: Virtually, but must come to the office to check the identity before starting.
Duration: We will require a minimum commitment of 6 months.

Key responsibilities
Together with the team, you will be responsible for:
* Using our social media channels to promote the charity
* Contributing blog posts to the charity website
* Writing and sending out newsletters to keep the volunteers and donors informed and engaged;
* Helping to develop local promotional materials
* Making sure that any photos of guests have consent forms
