University of Salford Triumphs in Varsity Against Chester University!

-I am thrilled to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all our sports clubs and their coaches for their outstanding victory in the varsity match against Chester University. On the 20th of March, held at Chester University, our teams showcased unparalleled skill and determination, culminating in a final score of 19-10 in our favour.

Being a part of the Salford Student Union fills me with immense pride, especially when our teams achieve such remarkable feats. I extend my gratitude to all the staff at the Students' Union, particularly as so many staff members stayed very late into the evening helping to get students on busses and clean up after the event. Without their dedication the event would not have been possible.

I'd particularly like to single out Kyle Cherry for his exceptional leadership, guiding our sports clubs and providing direction to our teams throughout the competition. I would also like to express my appreciation to our communications teams for their unwavering support and for celebrating our successes throughout the day. Furthermore, I extend my thanks to the opposition teams for their sportsmanship and dedication to fair play. Together, we have fostered an environment where healthy competition thrives, enriching the experiences of all participants.

Last but certainly not least, I must commend Shock for their incredible job in providing live coverage of the event. Their broadcast allowed supporters near and far to share in the excitement of the match, further strengthening our sense of community and camaraderie.

In conclusion, the victory in varsity against Chester University is a testament to the dedication, talent, and teamwork of our athletes. I am immensely proud of each and every member of our sports clubs and teams. Let us continue to strive for excellence and uphold the spirit of sportsmanship that defines the University of Salford.
