Changes to the Student Rep System
Following a pilot of alternative Student Voice mechanisms in the 2019/20 academic year, a decision has been reached by SELTEC to further expand changes to the Student Rep system across the majority of schools in the 2020/21 academic year. You should have now been informed if your programme will be transferring over to the new system and been offered the opportunity to attend a briefing with the Students' Union regarding these changes.
This area of the website is a dedicate space for Programme Leaders, Directors and Subject Leads to access all written guidance and recruitment resources you will need for the year ahead. If there is anything further that you would like us to provide, please contact m.colledge@salford.ac.uk

For both Course Rep and School Rep recruitment, there are a variety of resources available. Below you will find a set of standardised PowerPoint slides that specify the Rep vacancies within your school. Notes are included on each slide so you can use them for live recruitment in lectures, or as a stand-alone resource on Blackboard. In recognition that recruitment may be more challenging with COVID-19 restrictions, we have also created a video which can be used for digital recruitment.
